Mission
Lead, direct, and control all process engineering activities to develop manufacturing and production processes that are reliable, cost-effective, and support the organization’s short and long-term business objectives.

Main Responsibilities
Establish process engineering budgets; monitor the cost, effectiveness, and reliability of process engineering activities to optimize resources, prioritize spending, and ensure that standards are met.Evaluate the results of all projects and prepare recommendations for executives about significant changes that need to be made to resources, procedures, systems, or technology. Provide technical advice in the most important, complex, or difficult process engineering projects.
Lead the most complex, large, or difficult process engineering projects and develop innovative approaches to production problems.Monitor industry trends, and developments in engineering technology; evaluate and recommend investments in equipment, systems, or other assets that will improve the organization’s production capabilities.
Coordinates the development, implementation and follow up of the improvements in the methods / processes of the production lines. Optimizes the use of manpower, standard time, equipment and energy, solves problems in the manufacturing processes, in order to achieve efficiency, productivity, safety and quality.Works on project development and implementation of new products.
Analyze more complex product specifications, parts drawings, and other engineering data to develop new production processes, estimate time requirements for each step, and prepares operation sheets.
Analyze existing production processes and develop recommendations for changes to working methods or operation sequences that will minimize risks, costs, and wastage; increase yields and productivity; and improve the quality and consistency of final products.
Analyze existing industrial engineering techniques and develop recommendations for changes to working methods that will minimize costs, and time taken; increase yields and productivity; and improve the quality and consistency of final products. Conducts studies to determine the most efficient sequence of operations and workflow and recommends methods for maximum utilization of production facilities and personnel. Imply independent judgment and acquired experience, for execute moderately complex and non-routine assignments.Assists teams in the application of Lean methodologies and principles (e.g., 5S, VSM, SMED, TPM, Kaizen, etc.),to improve the organization’s profitability and efficiency.Perform standard technical calculations (for example, on time estimates, or equipment loads) and prepare standard operation sheets. Monitor production processes and work methods; and collect, compile, and analyze production data to identify opportunities to improve production processes.
To liaise with related teams to facilitate the smooth progressing of projects in order to meet safety, quality, cycle time and cost targets.

Skills / Knowledge / Experience
Bachelors or Masters degree in relevant subject (Engineering, Mechanical related) Minimum 10 years working experience in a relevant manufacturing environment with at least 5 years project & man management experience, ideally in a multi-national environment Experience in 5S, safety, lean activities in workshop is required. Experience in leading quality and other improvement projects through multi-department teams is required. Be familiar with manufacturing process,such as assembly,machining,welding Good communication skills, can communicate in both Chinese and English. Good at trouble shooting on complex process issues.
