Applicable Industries

The SY/2SY series water ring compressors are used to draw in air and other non-corrosive, non-dissolvable in water, and non-solid-particle-containing gases. They are widely applied in the gas compression and transportation, as well as tail gas recovery in industries such as petroleum, chemical engineering, especially in the chlor-alkali, PVC sectors, and the pharmaceutical industry. They feature high pressure, compact structure, reliable operation, ease of use, and large suction speed in the high-pressure zone. Since the compression process is carried out under isothermal conditions, it is less likely to cause danger when compressing flammable and explosive gases, and thus are widely used in the chemical and petroleum industries for polyethylene, styrene, oxides, vinyl chloride monomer, sulfur dioxide, hydrogen sulfide, benzene, butylene vinylene, oxygen, etc.

Structure and Characteristics

1. The use of stainless steel materials and reliable sealing components, along with the modular double-end face mechanical seal, ensures zero leakage in the compressed gas.

2. It can suck in gases containing a large amount of water vapor and tiny particles. When other liquids are used as the working fluid, it can also pressurize gases that are soluble in water or those that are not easily compatible with water.

3. The components that can be supplied in a complete set include: electronic control system, gas-liquid separator, heat exchanger, condenser, etc. These components are assembled into a complete set of units, enabling automatic monitoring and automatic control.

Model designation method

The model of the 2SY series pumps is indicated by a 4-digit combination of letters and numbers, as follows:

  (1)SY–(2)

Here: (1)represents the number of stages. For example, "2" represents two stages, and if not specified, it means a single stage.

SY represents the name of the high-pressure type water ring compressor series.

(2)represents the maximum pumping rate of the pump, with the unit being m³/min.

Model example: "2SY-12" represents a two-stage water ring compressor with a maximum air volume of 12 m3/min.
