Comparison between two-stage liquid ring pump and single-stage liquid ring pump

From the curve in the above figure, it can be seen that the single-stage liquid ring vacuum pump is suitable for use in situations where the vacuum requirement is not high, and it has a large suction capacity. However, when working within a higher vacuum range, the suction capacity significantly decreases (it begins to sharply decline at less than 200 mbar, and the decline is severe at less than 100 mbar). In this condition, the efficiency of the vacuum pump is extremely low and the power consumption is very high. In contrast, the double-stage liquid ring vacuum pump can obtain a larger suction capacity within a higher vacuum range. In the high vacuum working state, its efficiency is 30% to 40% higher than that of the single-stage liquid ring pump, and the power consumption is correspondingly reduced. Therefore, the double-stage liquid ring pump is more suitable for situations that require a large suction capacity while maintaining a high vacuum level.
The DLV series double-stage liquid ring vacuum pump is a new type of double-stage liquid ring vacuum pump developed by our company based on the 2SK series. The DLV series liquid ring vacuum pump is designed with a two-stage compression process. It maintains a stable suction rate within a higher vacuum range, or maintains a high vacuum level within a larger suction rate range. In a higher vacuum working state, its efficiency is 35% to 40% higher than that of a single-stage liquid ring pump, and the energy consumption is also reduced accordingly.
